Shape Armholes
Next row (RS): Keeping continuity of pattern, BO 7 (7, 9, 11, 11) sts at beg of next 2 rows [81 (89, 105, 113, 133) sts].Work even in patt as est until armhole meas 8 (8.5, 9, 9.5, 10)”, end after a WSR. Mark center 35 (35, 39, 43, 47) sts for Back neck. BO all sts.

Beg either Seeded Garter Rib pat or Textured Garter Rib pat, inc 1 st at each end of every 16 (13, 11, 13) rows 1 (3, 5, 3) time(s), then every 17 (14, 12, 14) rows 6 (6, 6, 6) times [54 (58, 66, 66) sts].

FRONT
Shape Neck
Next Row (RS):
K12 (14, 15, 15, 17) sts, join second ball of yarn and BO center 8 (8, 10, 12, 12) sts, knit to end of row. Working both sides at once, dec 1 st from each neck edge every row 3 times [9 (11, 12, 12, 14) sts]. Work even until piece meas same as Back to shoulder shaping. BO rem sts each side for shoulder.
Project 19: Slip Stitch Diamonds Pullover
SLEEVES
The instruction “change to large needles” appears twice.
Change to larger needles on the row after completing the 1x1 rib for 1.5”.
Project 20: Cabled Yoke Pullover
BACK
With smaller ndls CO 90 (94, 102, 106) sts. Row 1 (RS): K2, *P2, K2; rep from * to end of row. Row 2: P2, *K2, P2; rep from * to end of row. Rep last 2 rows (2x2 rib) once more, then Row 1 once inc 3 (5, 3, 5) sts evenly across last row [93 (99-105-111) sts].
Establish Cable Panel
Change to larger ndls and proceed in pat as foll:
Row 1 (WS): P0 (3, 0, 3); [K3, P3] 3 (3, 4, 4) times; [K2, P9, K2, P3, K3, P3] 3 times; [K3, P3] 1 (2, 2, 3) time(s); K3 (0, 3, 0).
Row 2: K0 (3, 0, 3); [P3, K3] 3 (3, 4, 4) times; [work Row 1 Cable Panel across next 13 sts; K3, P3, K3] 3 times; [P3, K3] 1 (2, 2, 3) time(s); P3 (0, 3, 0).
Cable Panel is now in position. Last 2 rows form rib pattern.
Cont in pat until work meas 15” from CO, end after WSR.
Shape Raglans
BO 3 (3, 4, 5) sts beg next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each end of next row and foll alt rows 2 (3, 4, 5) times more [81 (85-87-89) sts]. Work 1 row even in pat. BO all sts.
Project 21: Hoodie Vest
Clarification from the Designer …
There are no errors in the directions for the armhole shaping.
Left Front
Pattern states “Shape the armhole at beg of RSR (side edge) as for the Back”.
An advanced intermediate knitter is going to read this as “BO 6 sts once and then 1 st 7 times at the side edge (for her size)”, rather than making 2 armhole shapings on each Front.

FINISHING
Join shoulder seams using 3-Needle Bind Off Method.
Armhole Edging
After 3-Needle Bind-Off method to join the shoulders, pick up and K88 (100, 112) sts evenly around the armhole. Work 1x1 rib for 5 rows. BO in rib.

Work these 102 sts back and forth in rows. The beg of the rnd now becomes the center of the bag flap. Cont even in Garter St until piece meas 8 ½” from bound off sts, dec 1 st at each end of the row for 6 rows. BO all sts.
