FISH SCALE PATTERN (multiple of 4 sts + 3)
Row 1, 3, 5 (RS): K2, *wyif sl 3 sts, wyib K1; rep from *, end last rep K2.

With RS facing, using contrasting yarn as a guide, use crochet hook to place each of the 23 sts onto a straight needle.

PROJECT 22: Weekend Stroll

BACK PATTERN STITCH
Rows 1 and 3 (RS): Knit.
Row 2 (WS): P1, *K1, P1; rep from * to end of row.
Row 4 (WS): K1, *P1, K1; rep from * to end of row.
Rep Rows 1–4 for Back Patt st.

RIGHT FRONT
Establish Pattern
Rows 1 and 3 (RS): (K1, P1) 3 times, knit to end of row.
Row 2: (P1, K1) 12 (13, 15, 16) times, P1, (P1, K1) 3 times.
Row 4: *K1, P1; rep from * to last st, K1.
Rep Rows 1–4 for Right Front pat.
