Yarn Bazaar
www.yarnbazaar.com
Yarn Bazaar opened eight years ago with a simple set of goals: 1) provide the very best in high-quality hand-painted and specialty yarns, needles, hooks, knit and crochet patterns, and tools for consumers who do not have local access; 2) offer service at a level that provides the client with a “Wow!” experience; and 3) stand behind the products they sell.
Eight years later, Yarn Bazaar offers dozens of major brands of yarns, hundreds of hooks and needles, and thousands of patterns and truly unique kits and tools to clients around the world. The company prides itself on catering to both the knit and crochet community, and its customer satisfaction ratings are among the highest in the industry.
Yarn Bazaar's recently redesigned website offers a unique new online shopping experience that is easy to navigate and secure to use. You can browse for yarn by manufacturer, gauge, weight, and fiber content. Needles can be located by brand, type, material, and length. All yarns, needles, and patterns are cross-referenced, with handy links available for each product.
The Yarn Bazaar website is available 24 hours a day seven days a week or orders can be placed via a toll-free number (877-275-0475) Monday through Friday 10 am–5 pm EST. |
Crafty Glasses
www.craftyglasses.com
Every knitter knows that knitting in solitude offers its own benefits, but thanks to Crafty Glasses, knitting in public now takes on a whole new dimension, especially when you’re with your knitty friends.
Crafty Glasses is the brainchild of partners Maureen O’Connor (an avid knitter and former yarn shop owner) and Tom Koss. The idea for a wine glass designed strictly for crafters was born as the result of a search for a niche in the crafting industry. With their clever “Knit 1, Sip 1” logo, Maureen and Tom tested the waters on Facebook and received an overwhelmingly positive response. “Rip It, Sip It!” was later added, and their online business took off.
Available in three different colors, Crafty Glasses are sold in over forty
U.S. shops. Can’t find them in a store near you? Not to worry—knitters
everywhere can sip in style by taking advantage of their online store at www.craftyglasses.com. Yarn shops can order through the wholesale site by emailing info@craftyglasses.com for a password.
With their upcoming expansion into the quilting and scrapbooking arenas, Crafty Glasses hopes to offer unique craft-related wine glasses to an entire industry of creative hobbyists. |
