CO 23 sts.
Row 1: *K2, P2.  Rep from * across to last st. P1.  Repeat Row 1 until piece meas approx 36”. Bind off all sts. There should be approx 2/3 (33g) of the last ball of yarn to finish the scarf with the crocheted flowers.

Finishing
Instead of the same old-same old fringe, DC 3 times in all stitches of last row. Turn, ch3.  DC 3 times into each sp pf the first DC row. Fasten off, leaving 6” yarn tail. Wrap tail several times tightly around base of scarf 1 row above the DC. Gather tight to form flower. Secure with a knot and weave in ends.

Rnds 8 thru 11: Rep Rnd 1.
Rnd 12: Rep Rnd 7.
Rnds 13 thru 17: Rep Rnd 1.
Rnd 18: *P2, Sl 4 sts onto cn and hold in front; K2, P2 from cn, K2 from cn. Rep from *.
Rnds 19 thru 22: Rep Rnd 1.
Rnd 23: Rep Rnd 7.
Rnds 24 thru 27: Rep Rnd 1.
Rnd 28: Rep Rnd 7.
Rnds 29 thru 32: Rep Rnd 1.

Change to dpn.

Rnd 42: *K2tog; Repeat from * around.
 
Finishing
Cut yarn, leaving at least a 12” tail.  Thread yarn needle and pass needle through rem sts.  Pull tight to close.  Weave in end.
