FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

MATERIALS

•2, 50 g (153 yd) skeins Schoppel Wolle / Skacel Collection Cashmere Queen Uni (45% Merino wool, 35% cashmere, 20% silk) color #0781 Tangerine
•Size 7 US (4.5 mm) 24” circular needle
•6 stitch markers GAUGE
•20 sts x 24 rows = 4’ in pattern, after blocking Gauge is not critical for this project.



Notes

•Circular needles are used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
•Shawlette is worked in one piece, from neck to tower edge.
•Markers are used to mark the 3 ‘seam lines’, where yo’s are used to shape the piece.
•Slip all markers every row, working shaping ea side of markers on RSR as given in instructions.

Knitted Cast On Method Make slip knot and place on LH ndl as first st. *lnsert RH ndl in first st and knit as usual but instead of slipping st off LH ndl, pull loop just formed and place it back on LH ndl. Rep from*.

Establish Pattern

Row 1 (RS): K1, *yo, K1; rep from * across [5 sts].
Rows 2 and 4: Knit.
Row 3: [K1, yo] 2 times, K1, [yo, K1] 2 times [9 sts].
Row 5: [K1, yo, K3, yo] 2 times, K1 [13 sts]. Rows 6 and 8: K1, purl across to last st; K1. Row 7: *K1 (edge st), *yo, K2, yo, pm, K1 (seam st), pm; rep from * 2 times, end yo, K2, yo, K1 (edge st) [21 sts; 4 sections of 4 sts (yo, K2, yo), 3 seam-sts between m’s and 2 edge sts (keep in Garter st throughout)].
Row 9: K1, *yo, knit to m, yo, slm, K1, slm; rep from * 2 times, end yo, knit to last st, yo, K1 [8 sts inc; 1 ea side of ea m, 1 at ea side edge. 4 sections in St st between m’s].
