Simple Elegance
This light and airy stole is worked in a lacy pattern with South West Trading Company`s Infinity.

MATERIALS
- 2, 100 gm balls of South West Trading Company Infinity (Soy Silk)
- Circular knitting needle 29 in. long in size 3 U.S. OR SIZE REQUIRED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
- 2 stitch markers
- Row counter
GAUGE
8 sts and 9 rows = 1 in. with South West Trading Company INFINITY in St st.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.
NOTES
- Garment is knit with two strands of yarn held together.
- This is a lace garment, so openness is desired. If gauge is off, adjust needle size or adjust st count by 6, 12, 18, etc., sts.
- Center pattern repeats over 6 sts + 3. The center panel design is different from the one that borders the sides. It is helpful to place a marker on each side of this center panel to correlate with the instructions.

Next row: K 14, place marker, k 147 sts to within last 14 sts for center panel, place marker, k 14. Note: The markers indicate where the instructions [ ] beg and end for center panel. Rep Rows 1 -12 of Lacy Pat until Stole is desired length. K 6 rows. BO loosely. Note: Using a larger needle for cast off is helpful.
FINISHING
Wash and rinse by hand. Squeeze out excess water, place between folds of a towel and squeeze out more water. Block stole to desired length, keeping design aligned.
